I have walked by this stadium many times over the course of the last three years. I have seen it in the heat, in the rain and in the snow, but my all time favorite view of the stadium is this one. It adds something to the scene that seems right to me even though, for Alabama, it is all wrong.
The snow did not stay, and things were back to their normal Alabama winter colors of brown and gray quickly, but for the moment, time seemed to slow as the color of white forced its way into a scene into which it did not belong. It hung on for several hours, but as temperatures rose and the day grew later, it succumbed and disappeared as fast as it came.
Is this not who we are in Christ as we live in this world as sojourners?
