Mystery Solved?

Well, it appears one of the world's greatest mysteries has been solved. A fragment of metal from Amelia Earhart's plane has been identified.

The evidence presented is fairly compelling. Read the story HERE!

Apparently, according to the story, Earhart and her navigator, Fred Noonan, landed on a distant atoll due to running out of fuel. The atoll was some 350 miles of course.

Earhart and Noonan apparently spent their remaining time as castaways on this tiny atoll, hoping to be found before starving to death or succumbing to the elements.

All that was left was that tiny scrape of metal, which has been identified as coming from Earhart's plane. But, mysteries, no matter the evidence, die hard, especially ones as old as this one. Don't expect this to be accepted by everyone. I predict there will be quite a few who reject the evidence and continue the promotion of their own theories.

As for me, I am crossing this one of my list. I am convinced that this is as much as we will ever know about Amelia Earhart and Fred Noonan.
